Dastkari Center

The Dastakari Project is one of Falah-e-Ummat Welfare Foundation’s flagship initiatives, created to empower deserving women, widows and orphan girls through skill-based training. Our aim is to help them become financially independent, confident and skilled so they can support their families with dignity.

What We Do

• Offer 3-month certified training in stitching, cutting, crochet, and basic tailoring
• Provide free access to materials, tools, and a supportive learning environment
• Train students through structured phases: Practice → Skill Building → Production
• Connect trained women to real uniform orders from schools
• Ensure 100% income from completed work goes directly to the women
• Conduct assessments and final exams to strengthen professionalism

• 800+ school uniforms completed and delivered
• Dozens of families supported through sustainable income
